Welcome to Ebb. Welcome to uh Tapped in with Time Flies. Um, everybody make some noise. See how the energy changed? That was a good thing. Energy change. Uh, welcome to Tapped In With Time Flies, me being sad person, time flies. Um, I want to first and foremost, I want to say thank you to everybody that checked out last week's episode, keep running that episode up. Um, with my guy Phelps. So once again, shout out to Phelps for coming through and having a conversation with me that we have off camera, off mic all the time, but just being able to share with the world. I seen a lot of opinions and a lot of people that thought it was any issues for whatever reason. Don't know where that came from, but it could never be any issues with anybody over on that end. Again, like he was somebody that was at my wedding, these people are family. It's never gonna be no issues. I don't know why they even came to the forefront. So just wanted to put that out there and state that before we start. Um, but yeah, I'm here. So thank y'all for tuning back in. Um, I have some people with me. Um, somebody who I haven't seen in like a month, but we'll we'll address that on the podcast. And I have should I introduce y'all or should I just do because they well, MJ, they they're never they've never seen our episode. Oh yeah, no, they don't even know you exist. Well, they do know you exist, but they don't know you exist in this in this realm.
SPEAKER_01In this room.
SPEAKER_04Right, exactly.
SPEAKER_01Okay, should I introduce myself?
SPEAKER_04You can. We can do it probably, and I can get on you.
SPEAKER_01This is my camera, just my camera. Okay. Hey y'all, my name is Melica Lee. I am uh the host of Go and Bad People. I am an event host, I'm a podcaster, I'm a model part-time, I rap, uh not professionally, and I don't really rap, but you know, if a little ones who come on, that's what I do. And I'm also on here. What time?
SPEAKER_04Make some noise for uh MJ. Let me see if I keep going. If we keep going.
SPEAKER_01Oh thanks, noise.
SPEAKER_04Oh no, that was it. All right. And we got we got my guy.
SPEAKER_01Y'all hate me. Okay.
SPEAKER_04And I I have I have a friend of mine who I uh was on tapped in before, years and years ago, when I when I first started tapped in, and we was able to maintain a relationship through the years. Not a lot of people you meet and um, especially in the city, that um you can maintain a genuine relationship, especially as men. A lot of men they get into ego battles and it's all certain things, but never was like that with this guy and um somebody I truly, truly, truly fuck with, which is why y'all even gonna see him up here on the pie. Definitely gonna be the last time. So I got my guy Bang up here. What's up with you, bro?
SPEAKER_02I appreciate you having me, man. A lot of space, a lot of new energy. You know what I'm saying? I told you I'd love to come support anytime I can. Okay. No, we go way back. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_04Exactly, exactly. We see each other like we don't see each other as often. We see each other once a year, like we always run to each other in spaces where we supposed to be at. You know what I'm saying? It's always like, oh, is you back here whatever? Okay, what's up?
SPEAKER_01Not the universe bringing y'all together.
SPEAKER_04Oh, really? Really, really. Back to you though.
SPEAKER_01Oh.
SPEAKER_04So but if y'all don't know, Malaya has been up here before. Y'all just have never seen the episode. Y'all probably never will see the episode.
SPEAKER_01Good. My hair wasn't done that day.
SPEAKER_04It wasn't it.
SPEAKER_01It wasn't done. It was cool, it wasn't done.
SPEAKER_04Why you you didn't communicate that that you didn't want the episode to be No, because it was like I was like, alright, fuck it. Like it is what it is.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna do the work regardless. So if that's how it gotta come out, it gotta come out like that.
SPEAKER_04I respect that. I respect that. I haven't seen you since my my party though.
SPEAKER_01That was the most fun I had in a long time.
SPEAKER_04You ain't got a lot for the people.
SPEAKER_01No, that's real shit. Like I had so much fun. And it also was nice because I felt like I was in a space where I could party and I wasn't gonna get shot. Like I didn't feel like anybody was gonna shoot me. It didn't feel like it was gonna be a fight. That's not gonna combination. Yeah, no.
SPEAKER_04Oh, I mean, getting shot over Donnell Jones is a little crazy.
SPEAKER_01That's what I'm saying. And nobody in there was like sloppy drunk either, which was cute. I don't like sloppy shit. Yeah. You know, drinking, you know, the wine out of bottles, pinky up, it was like There we go.
SPEAKER_04It was the type of vibes I like to create for people. You know what I'm saying? Especially when we make everybody feel safe, feel comfortable. Um, my battle with the sex is a party was a month ago, my one year anniversary. I do a bunch of different things, but this that being one of the things that I was really, really, really excited about and being able to do was my concert series because for years I've been telling people I'm like a goat in RB, and nobody really didn't give a fuck what the fuck I said, but they seen me behind the camera and uh, you know what I'm saying, producing for five years. So it was one of the things that I was like, cool, I'm gonna just do it, and then we'll go from there. But um, I do appreciate you for coming. We did have a good time.
SPEAKER_01And I brought my best friend too.
SPEAKER_04We we talked about that off camera. Yeah, we'll leave that to be.
SPEAKER_02So you curated all the songs that was played?
SPEAKER_04Yes, I cure every single thing. I'm I'm like, I'm like a maniac when it comes to like being hands-on with everything. In terms of the second you walk in, there's uh there's a photo wall, a video wall, there's the music, there's the setup, there's the wristbands that come in that like they actually relationship.
SPEAKER_01The wristbands was messy.
SPEAKER_04They actually they actually relationship at the door. So that way it it it helps to boost interaction.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, the manga land is way better when you know what you're working on. Yeah, yeah. They didn't care about the wristbands though.
SPEAKER_04I mean, you know, certain people would and shouldn't care, but I can't say I didn't call it just help.
SPEAKER_01I said, I'm in a relationship. He's like, You sure? You sure it's not complicated?
SPEAKER_04That's all I could do. You know what I'm saying? You go to the bar and you know, she might, she got the green wristband on. You know, she you know, you can play, you can play ball. She got the red on, it's like, all right, you can't really play ball. She might be. And if she in the middle, in the gray area, then buy her drink, and you know what I'm saying? We never know where it might go. There you go. So, yeah, I like to, you know, we'll we'll it's not the last battle with a sexist. We got another one coming um in the summer around my birthday time. Um if anybody cares to be there. Um, but uh first of how is how is everybody feeling first and foremost? I gotta ask, I gotta check in with everybody and just see, engage everybody's I know my uh you said you as a real nigga.
SPEAKER_01Definitely the realist. No, I feel great. I've been having a great month. I've been working out, living my life.
SPEAKER_04You gotta update me in real time in a month because I haven't seen you in a month.
SPEAKER_01Okay, so boom, this month I hosted an event at Soak City. I host a flying name because that's what I do. I'm the resident host at the end.
SPEAKER_04They need to like put like a mirror, like your face on the side of the city.
SPEAKER_01They need to, because I'm there every fucking third Thursday. Literally. Like I haven't missed the third Thursday in a year. Every night, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Salmon and rice gotta be.
SPEAKER_01You do. You gotta come. But you ain't missing our show. Make sure you get the greens on the side. I haven't. You hate me.
SPEAKER_04Uh no, I just have like a very tiny human being now that's like running over. But I'm trying to be more social with everybody. I was gonna pop up to the last one. I was I was gonna pop up to the last one though, without telling you.
SPEAKER_01Oh no, no, that wasn't my birthday badge, but that was our uh anniversary show. That show was fun. I actually had too much fun. I actually was acting like that was my birthday, so I had two birthdays back to back technically. I we was I don't remember my name that night. I don't know who I was. It was insane. But this week, this month has been really, really good to me. I like it.
SPEAKER_04You need a mirror outside, put your face on the side.
SPEAKER_01Oh, and I'm reading a book. I read a book. I'm almost done. Um I You Can't Hurt Me by David Goggins.
SPEAKER_04Okay, we were talking about books. And I was letting them know. I haven't I don't get mad. I don't know if I'm gonna share this with y'all.
SPEAKER_01They're gonna judge.
SPEAKER_04You don't read? It's like I mean, books, not really. Like, but I mean, you know, sometimes.
SPEAKER_01But food is not food is knowledge. Books are knowledge, books are food for your brain.
SPEAKER_04Books are knowledge. I feel like so I'm anti like I was about to say something crazy and I'm glad I didn't say it. I'm just I feel like things I was taught in like school, it's like I I don't utilize later at this point in my life. And I think not to say the book, you can read anytime you want, but I'm just saying like I was about to say you don't utilize it. It was always in a you have to read book report. Like you have you know, saying things I was like, no, fuck no, I don't want to do that.
SPEAKER_01So you wasn't reading for fun as a kid?
SPEAKER_04No.
SPEAKER_02See, for me, my curiosity beat me every time. Right? That's always the motivation for me is like once I read something or something catch my attention, like I just gotta go down like a deep dark rabbit hole of like as many facts that I can find out about said thing.
SPEAKER_04Like, I wish I was I was either if it was reading for fun, it was like, no, like my attention span was like terrible.
SPEAKER_01You got ADHD?
SPEAKER_04You might have it, we might have it in common.
SPEAKER_01Well, I was win I had got a million bracelets from that. I was not playing.
SPEAKER_04I purposely, I remember one time we had to do like read to like gauge like what level of reading it was on when I was in school, and I was doing so well that it had me keep reading consecutively, and I fucked up on purpose one time so I can like not do it no more. I swear to god, like I was like, I'm I'm cool about this. I fucked it up on purpose. I was like, I'm done. I was like, I'm gonna go to recess. Like, I'm gonna do the I'm gonna go to recess. Like, I'm so I fucked it up on purpose. So I my attendance being literally was just like, I can't, I can't do this. But I just told y'all the story off camera of how reading probably would help me with something that was moving. So I do want to you just send me some suggestions, both of you, because I know y'all you know read, so let me know, and I'll try my best.
SPEAKER_02Especially the last book I said, because that's that's like an answer. You said you read it every once a year, so yeah, because it's like I'm pretty sure most guys, like if you got like mentors or older guys, like because that's who gave it to me. Um the way of a superior man, but like, especially like in a stage that you went, going into a new chapter, like with you know, your situation and everything. It's like a good read to like basically like you get to see like where you at mentally, like in like manhood. Like if you scale manhood on the scale, like zero to a hundred, reading that book will kind of like show you like where you scale, like where you need to improve at to like go up. Okay.
SPEAKER_01What do you think a woman could take from it? Like from your perspective of reading the book.
SPEAKER_02It's crazy. A woman actually bought the book for me. Oh, yeah. So it's like I think women get from the book is kind of like basically for both genders, I feel like it's like understanding of like why men are like approach things a certain way. Okay. Like maybe like the closed offness about men and like where their mentality is at, and like it's like take like the self-centeredness out of like a woman's perspective, where like, you know, like when you in dating someone, women kind of be like, Well, what's wrong? Is it me? Is it me? And then it kind of like gives you that.
SPEAKER_01You gotta realize it's not always you sometimes like men do be in their own brain.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah. So I think it would definitely be very helpful for women. I think she read it actually, that's why she's subscribing to me. I'm about to read this. But don't I'm about to read this to manipulate. But it's also like magic, too. So it's like how you intend on using that information says a lot.
SPEAKER_04What what what book is like that for uh women? Would women have books like that?
SPEAKER_01Anything you read that was like I haven't read the book, but I heard so much about it. It's like um why men love bitches, and it's like a book. I might be wrong, but I think it's a book based upon I think it's a book based upon like why being more stern and more like less emotional and a little more analytical might get you further in life and relationships and stuff like that. And I might be wrong because I didn't read it, but I could understand that as somebody who is extremely emotional, once I actually like regulated my emotions, I was able to smooth like just glide through life. Like nothing really bothers me at this point. I'm able to have a discussion instead of an argument. I maybe that's a little bit of stoicism, because I've been subscribing to that a lot too lately.
SPEAKER_04Okay, that's a good idea. Who wrote that book, Future?
SPEAKER_01I don't know, but if he wrote a book, I'm reading it.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_01I can promise you that.
SPEAKER_04Let it love it.
SPEAKER_02So how it that that's one thing that always confuses me about the future. Cause it's like you have so many women that champion their behavior, but then how how do you champion their behavior when you're on the receiving end of it? You just don't be on the receiving end. Oh, so you keep it P2.
SPEAKER_01I don't I just don't participate in those activities.
SPEAKER_02That was a smooth Elvis. That's that's that media trainer right there. It's not the first time I got there.
SPEAKER_01That was smooth. You see how she you can appreciate art and not do the art. Like I love people who sculpt, I think pottery is amazing. I don't have to do pottery, I'm not gonna make a bowl, but I will watch somebody else do it for sure.
SPEAKER_04No, you watch ghosts, just skip it.
SPEAKER_01No, I didn't hear you.
SPEAKER_04Don't even matter. Um, that's but I'll again please let me know what y'all are reading because I want to learn how to become a better human being in general.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Um, and I know, like I said, just my attention. Right well, right now I'm like just not doing nothing but podcasting and sitting at home with my daughter. So trust me, I can benefit from reading some things and learning. Because Lord knows, like I said, it took me two years to open up a friend of mine's book, and my name was in there the whole time in the back. So would have never known. That's it. Um speaking of the future, though, I do want to I do want to jump into our our uh first topic. Wait, did we discuss you how everything went with you?
SPEAKER_02Or before we I mean, right now I just dropped a new song. I'm getting back in the midst of music. I was doing a lot of writing, going to a lot of writing camps. Um it's always hit or miss when you go to writing camps and you get placements on albums, and then things go wrong. Yeah. And you just was working on giving somebody a time for the last year or something. I can see how that could be frustrating. Yeah, it's it's h it's hella frustrating because it's like you take it as the opportunity being a big opportunity because you know if it goes the way you plan on going, it could be big, but then it's like it takes a lot of time away from your actual goals and dreams for yourself as an artist. So you might spend a year working on something, and then whatever happens between them people, you don't get the benefit from it, and then now your time is used up. So I'm just focusing on me right now. I just dropped a new song, Respect the Game. I got another song coming next Friday called Throne. Okay. Um, just working on music, getting back in a media space, getting back in the entertainment space, getting back outside, you know, pulling up on guys like Tom, meeting new friends.
SPEAKER_04Where else would he go, y'all?
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Yeah, back in a mix. I had to come see Tom first, man. Where else would he go? See the Godfather.
SPEAKER_04Um, thank you for that, by the way. Because if I say it myself, I'm I'm all types of cocky. But um, no, I definitely, you know, like I said, you're more than welcome every time. You know what I'm saying? With our relationship, we already know how I go up here, especially between me and you. Um, but I do want to speak. Well, now I don't want to, I guess it is kind of to segue into music because not active music, but I know y'all seen the Michael Jackson um biopic. Anybody seen the movie yet?
SPEAKER_02I haven't seen it.
SPEAKER_04Anybody plan on seeing it?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I got to. It's like a rite of passage, but it is like that goes for the studios as well.
SPEAKER_04Because I'm I'm judging tomorrow, everybody. Okay. Not when it's like a like a like a game.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02Is y'all gonna dress up though? Like anybody got they they outfits ready? Okay, okay.
SPEAKER_04You say you're supposed to. I'm not gonna lie, you're supposed to.
SPEAKER_02This is one of those times where like nobody's I'm not judging nobody, nobody's being judged, whatever wig, jacket, highlight, poster, whatever you decide to show up to the movie theater with, we are not judging, we are with you. We are one community as far as Michael Jackson goes. I don't care what nobody says.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I just yeah, I y'all ain't tell me about the the gang, the game going to Michael Jackson. You gotta talk to HR. Um, but yeah, no, so I definitely so nobody's seen it. I no, I haven't. Okay.
SPEAKER_02I wasn't gonna see it either. I think the acting lineup so far, like as far as just names on paper, it's a good cast. Now, I haven't seen the movie yet, so I'm looking forward to seeing it for sure.
SPEAKER_04Have y'all been seeing the reviews thus far?
SPEAKER_01I've seen the reviews. I was hearing a lot of people say it was good. Twitter's sick. Yeah, they've been.
SPEAKER_04I see people saying that it's it's it's it's it's a tough watch. I don't I feel like this is one of them, this is one of them instances where I don't give a fuck what like the critics think or say that it's like this is like a cultural thing for like us. Whether if it's good or bad, I'm not gonna tell niggas it's bad. Like I if it's the worst movie I ever seen in my fucking life, you would never know.
SPEAKER_02Well see, now it's like, and and y'all probably can't understand what I'm saying when I say this. It's like I feel like how like my mom and and my grandparents used to reference stuff because like if you my age or a little around my age, you know the original uh Jackson American movie.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that which was like a series.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, the TV series that everybody knows and reference. So it's like I feel like this movie is to introduce these last few generations into Michael Jackson and like who he was. I don't feel like this movie is for people who already know right beloved him. Yeah, you feel me? Like they already was already knew everything he did, already saw everything. Maybe not in real time, but you know, you know, for the most part, they already knew everything. So I feel like this movie is for these younger people, like 25 and under.
SPEAKER_04Like my fault. That was that was that was my intrusion. No, no, it's cool.
SPEAKER_01It's cool because I actually I think you have a point because I did not grow up with Michael Jackson. Right.
SPEAKER_04You did, but you didn't.
SPEAKER_01No, I didn't. Like my mom was very anti-Michael Jackson in our household. For real? My mom was like, we not listening to it.
SPEAKER_04Was it was it the uh the allegations?
SPEAKER_01She was a believer of the allegations, forgetting about that. And it's funny because I'm Jamaican, so it's like Jamaicans love Michael Jackson.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but they don't play about that other shit though.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no. So it was like we was not listening to that. And I um I just recently started like being able to appreciate his music once I became like a adult adult.
SPEAKER_04I couldn't imagine. I mean, so as a child, you just never had a moment where you just wanted to be Michael Jackson. I feel like everybody I just heard that. I had a moment where I just like seen my like my aunt wig and was like, fuck that. Put this joint on. But that's crazy. Put a glove on.
SPEAKER_01I never wanted to be Michael Jackson. I wanted to be Sean Paul. I really want like That's a crazy segue.
SPEAKER_04It's like five Sean Pauls.
SPEAKER_01I legit wanted to be Sean Paul. And like I knew I was a girl, but like I had a big brother, so I was like, I'm a girl, but like you ever feel like you was robbed of that experience though?
SPEAKER_02Like of the Michael Jackson experience? I'm thinking about like how many kids' parents thought the allegations, you know, because in real time, you know, people kind of just take it for what it is. The media saying this, this is what we're going with. So I can just imagine how many parents was like, no, this is like a no-go. And now I'm thinking like 20 plus years later, it's like how many was probably robbed of the I definitely was.
SPEAKER_01Everybody is obsessed with them, and like it was to a point where my boyfriend was playing the music, and I'm just like, I don't know the song. Oh, I don't know the song, oh I don't know the song. He's like, So you never listen, I I never listened to a full Mike Jack album.
SPEAKER_04Like Do you have a favorite Michael Jackson song?
SPEAKER_01Liberian Girl.
unknownOh, that's fine.
SPEAKER_04Of course.
SPEAKER_01What? That's not that's not that's not violet. I think that's violet. Of course.
SPEAKER_04No, it's it's it's you're a woman, it's violet.
SPEAKER_02Is it because it's it'd be viral on TikTok and Instagram on the Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Nobody. And um, um Beat It.
SPEAKER_04But it never guessed.
SPEAKER_01In the midnight. Would have never guessed.
SPEAKER_04Would have never guessed.
SPEAKER_01What the fuck else? Like in the one where he was uh crying about uh not Diana Rose. It was Diana Rose?
SPEAKER_04Diana Diana?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's my shit. That's my shit.
SPEAKER_04We're not judging. This is this is for you to learn, like he said, for be able to.
SPEAKER_01I'm in the process.
SPEAKER_04So whenever you get up whenever you get the opportunity though, it's it's another Michael Jackson Bible pick with Flex Alexander, Flex Wise. Oh no. I want you to go watch. Okay. Because you can't appreciate this one without seeing that one.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna watch this one tonight. I'm gonna watch that one tonight. I'm gonna illegally stream it tonight.
SPEAKER_04You do that, you do that, and you let me know. It don't ever need to be nowhere.
SPEAKER_03It's the today.
SPEAKER_04But you can't, you really had to. That was my next question too. If for that, it was because I do want to say I definitely want to go see him. Like I said, if it's good, if it's bad, it's good. So I don't care. I'm black. So we're gonna appreciate our icons. And Michael Jackson is like probably the biggest fucking superstar ever. Yeah, transcends every generation.
SPEAKER_01I can definitely understand his stardom because he's like y'all, um, he's like y'all cartel. Like Cartel could get on stage the same way he was on stage and waited two minutes. Cartel could get on stage and wait two minutes and everybody just yes, and just fucking scream. Yeah, I was I would pass out if I seen Cartel, I ain't gonna lie. Wait, Cartel or Pusha T. If I see Pusha T in person and like we speak and he says hello, I'm gonna pass the fuck out immediately.
SPEAKER_04I didn't have that scene screen. I fuck with Pusha T.
SPEAKER_01I love Push.
SPEAKER_04So I wanna know, and I I can put this to the room too. You know, I love asking y'all questions as well. Is there somebody who y'all would love or y'all feel like should have a biopic made named or after them that you would like looking forward to and want to tune in?
SPEAKER_02I know mine's off right.
SPEAKER_04Who is it? Bow Wow Bow Wow, it's not a bad one.
SPEAKER_02I feel like people like don't give this man enough respect, bro. Like he we laugh and joke, social media makes shit to bed and all that. But you can you it's not too many entertainers that can come in a game five, six years old. Yeah. Before they because Bow Wow probably. What just pushing 40? So before, yeah, right before.
SPEAKER_04Somewhere in his late 30s.
SPEAKER_02Before 35, bro, if you like just line his resume up of like shit that he don't gotta do nothing else ever again. Like never again. Bob was definitely a legend. The fact that he did this in like a 25 year span, like from the rip of just like greatness, non-stop greatness. You talking about fame. You talking about like shutting down malls. Everything. He talking about spending the night at Michael Jordan crib. Like, shit like that. Like you're talking about meeting presidents, shooting movies all-star weekend. Like they shot that movie All-Star Weekend in there.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, like Mike, yeah.
SPEAKER_02During a real like doing stuff.
SPEAKER_04You know who Bob Wow is?
SPEAKER_02Of course I know who Bow Wow is.
SPEAKER_04Skycheck. Skycheck.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I I would love to see a Bow Wow biopic. Like movies, music, entertainment. He did the 106 apart stuff.
SPEAKER_04Like all of that. Everything, bro. To live through. I literally you didn't you didn't grow up and didn't want to be Bow Wow.
SPEAKER_02Come on, bro.
SPEAKER_04It's no no way you didn't want to be Bow Wow. I know you probably don't understand, but I didn't want to be Bow Wow.
SPEAKER_02Of course.
SPEAKER_01But I used to I used to listen a lot of Bow Wow as a kid. Because I was kidding he was making like kind of kid music. My cousin used to love him. They used to call for Bow Wow. Bow Wow. Um, who the other nigga? Uh Lil' Corey. So like was word up.
SPEAKER_04That who the who the who the hell is that?
SPEAKER_01You know what? When I was growing up, I wasn't into like that culture. I was like a one direction kid. So I was like J12. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Posters stopped being cool in like what? Oh nine? Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_01No, like 2016. 2016, 2017. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Where was y'all getting posters from? Because we would get them out of magazines. Like word up magazines.
SPEAKER_01J12 Meg. J12, J12, J12 Meg.
SPEAKER_04My first introduction in the posters on the wall was like pornography.
SPEAKER_01Like that's freaky.
SPEAKER_02Not mine. Like Hustler or like Playboy.
SPEAKER_04But it was like, like my dad had like a room that was like forbidden to go into.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and you know a freaking man cave. Everybody didn't cave.
SPEAKER_04Of course.
SPEAKER_02Like that's like regular.
SPEAKER_04You go in there, turn the PlayStation 21 by the play Need for Speed. Nope. It's Pinky.
SPEAKER_02Alcohol in there, it's cigar.
SPEAKER_01Like it's like alcohol, cigar.
SPEAKER_05Oh.
SPEAKER_01I've heard of these things. Like I've heard, like, I've heard of people being like, yeah, my dad would have to do it. He laughed because they know it's true. My dad had every fucking Cherokee and Pinky and Culladim.
SPEAKER_02And the S and y'all got the excess. You could just go take a long shower. Like back in the day. Like you had to get out of school early. Like the universe had to align. Like you gotta get out of school early.
SPEAKER_04Seriously.
SPEAKER_02The siblings, they took a little long to get home from school. Mom still at work. T you gotta have the right volume on the TV. You gotta have the right swap out ready. For if you hear somebody come in, you kind of press the break. You got the nigga. You gotta press it. You got the nickname. Throw the remote in the kitchen. Right here, and then you got booty talk 85. Yo, regret. Your swap game gotta be 1000 or going down. It's over, your career done.
SPEAKER_04Yep. I would just that was my first being exposed to like just going to my dad. I swear to God, going to my dad room was like, what the fuck?
SPEAKER_01The freaky nasty man cave.
SPEAKER_04I'm talking about like like you know how like posters like just everywhere and over across. I gotta ask him about that shit actually. It's like some sickle shit.
SPEAKER_01Like what's it?
SPEAKER_04My dad been married like six times.
SPEAKER_01But every ever all six times he had the freaky cave.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01He got a Jezzlebook spirit.
SPEAKER_04He got some some type of spirit. But it's it's which is it's crazy in a different way. Speaking to because yeah, we had to literally like time it. Like you wake up middle of the night, HBO, real sex, you watch the vanilla corny shit.
SPEAKER_02And then next thing you know, it's nothing but titties.
SPEAKER_04Mean T and Cut. Like almost like what seriously, if I walk in your crib and you got like watching like porn on your TV, like I would probably like call like the National Guard.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no, I feel like that's weird and freaky. Like I I I wouldn't I would have never like on the TV is like Yeah.
SPEAKER_04But you know what? Get this nigga out of here.
SPEAKER_02That was a thing.
SPEAKER_04Y'all are the be grateful you didn't have to go through that era. Yeah. Because you had to learn everything real quick. You get like increments, like, all right, my mom's gonna wake up and like if you hear the footsteps, you gotta you get four minutes and 32 seconds to see what the fuck is going on. If you gotta go back to fucking SpongeBob, I'm trying to tell you, it was a it was a that was a real thing.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I don't think we really had that. Like we got phones and shit like that, but more importantly, like we had like this thing called smut. So like girls used to read like a lot of fan fictions about like fucking who was popular, books and all that, yeah. But it was on Wattpad and it was like completely different and written by like everyday kids. Yeah, I don't need to be. It would be like and fucking who else was popular? Um who the freaking nigga who had uh the girl in the closet?
SPEAKER_04Archie.
SPEAKER_01No, the other nigga. Trey songs, trace songs and fucking somebody in the closet? It was a whole thing with him and Kiki.
unknownOh shit.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, Trey Songs, them, mindless behavior, one direction. Like it was crazy. And they would be in school on their phones, on their phones, just scrolling all day straight face, reading about how celebrities just did this crazy, just bent this girl and threw her over the balcony and spit in her face. Like it was okay.
SPEAKER_04Thank God I never came across that.
SPEAKER_02Like, we was cool with like the regular, you know, the little stuff they pick a girl from the bus stop. Yeah, like regular, uh celebrations.
SPEAKER_04First of all, it was it was such it was such an isolated thing where like I feel like nowadays they look they let anybody sell pussy nowadays. No disrespect. But I'm it's it's so convenient now where you just be like it used to be like a every you know what I'm saying? It was like it has to be a select group, you know what I'm saying? That you was like grew up on this shit. Yeah, no, but now it's like you know, you never know who your neighbor, you know what I'm saying, your landlord, your grandmother.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god. I'm I'm really trying not to laugh right now. Oh real this is this is getting so messy.
SPEAKER_04All right, that's that's you know, that's good, but I'm saying it it it does happen. But you didn't name who would your biopick one person if you had to be anybody? Uh that took a dark turn, I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_01Oh Justin Bieber.
SPEAKER_04That's not bad.
SPEAKER_01That sounds crazy, right? Justin Bieber, because you gotta remember he was like at the Diddy parties and he was with Usher. That's the reason his story is so insane because he spent a good chunk of his young years with those people, and it all of a sudden got weird and quiet. Like all of a sudden got weird and quiet, and then he got songs out like Yummy, where he's talking about like weird things happening to kids. Like, I need to know what happened. Man, what lyrics he said on that?
SPEAKER_04Um I took him Yummy? That's that I I heard that. I was about to sing Peaches.
SPEAKER_01It was just it was some weird shit. I can't remember offhand, but when I did a deeper dive into it, I was like, oh shit. Yeah, and you got remember all of a sudden he just got quiet, stopped drawing music, stopped talking on the internet. Then he had a crazy crash out recently around the time Diddy shit came out.
SPEAKER_04Okay, so uh you try to connect the dots.
SPEAKER_01It's the dots. I'm I don't gotta connect them because they they magnetic.
SPEAKER_04They go in, they go into the you just put them down and they just see where they go in.
SPEAKER_01It's happening, but yeah, I need to I just need to know what happened. Either him or Ross Cartel.
SPEAKER_04Okay, yeah. Diddy sent me a heart one time before.
SPEAKER_01I don't really know.
SPEAKER_02I didn't know what it meant at the time.
SPEAKER_01You don't know nothing about cartel?
SPEAKER_04Like, I don't know, I don't know if I ever shared that with y'all.
SPEAKER_01Did he sent you a message?
SPEAKER_04He sent me like a like a heart emoji before.
SPEAKER_01I don't know if I should be sharing that, but did you did you did you feel safe?
SPEAKER_02Oh, so you can't just end it.
SPEAKER_04All right, let me let me preface it by saying it was a time I'm friends with someone that at the time I was this almost will sound like the fucking origin story of a nigga being groomed. But okay, it's not that I was a new media personality, and looking back, like a lot of people, like when I was starting off, it was a lot of people telling me, like, yo, you like a genius and those three things, but people were introducing me to new people. And one of my friends was like, I'm gonna put you on FaceTime with Puff. It was like, I'm like, maybe not, whatever, whatever. And then he'd look up. It was like, oh hey, here's FaceTime. And I'm like, Oh shit, what's up? You know, me being young, I was like 22, 23. It's like, oh shit, what's up? And then from there, it was like, okay, cool. I got to meet, you know what I'm saying? At least to have a conversation with him. And it was like on Instagram. I can't remember what I said or what I did, but he just like replied to like my my like my post and just was like heart emoji. Star and like a heart emoji. And it was like, cool. That's like y'all laughing at my pain is you need security detail.
SPEAKER_02That's like that's like the most passive, aggressive way to hit on a like he was hitting on me? Yeah, yeah. Like what like it wasn't like no good job, like you know, it just was star heart. I see you, like love, no words, just emojis. Like, that's crazy.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna make it the cover art. I'm gonna make it the cover art for this episode.
SPEAKER_02Star heart.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's I still got the screenshot.
SPEAKER_01I feel like the start and the heart.
SPEAKER_04Not hit me posting it. Oh, did he fuck with me?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's that's I don't know. That's just I don't know.
SPEAKER_01Somehow, like that's freaky. Like the start and the heart. Like, what you trying to say? Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I'm trying to like what are you trying to say with the start and the heart?
SPEAKER_04Let's not connect the dots right now. Let's just go off of what we what we want to believe in the hearts. We want to believe in our hearts.
SPEAKER_02Um more little rides out here.
SPEAKER_04No, not no. We don't we not in Philly. We ain't playing those games. Nah, hell no. I never I never thought about no biopics. I do want to know across the room, though, real quick, before we change topics. I know y'all have one, or at least thought about anybody. Y'all would want to see their story from top to bottom. Pause if applicable.
SPEAKER_01Oh.
SPEAKER_04We can't talk about that freaking diddy topic. Yeah, that was wild. That was crazy. No, nobody, no biopics from anybody.
SPEAKER_02They what about nobody though that you can think of? Huh?
unknownI mean, Richard Pryor.
SPEAKER_01Oh, that's a good property. No, he's sick. That's really good. I know about Richard Pryor. Ha, I know about Richard Pryor. You know, he's I actually did a book report on him.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you know, about like self on fire, smoking crack.
SPEAKER_01I know he said, You know, actually, I know that he made a woman, um, I can't who remember who was, but like she wasn't able to have kids because he used to be a good thing. Putting the cocaine on the tip and just that whole. I found that out.
SPEAKER_04Look at you being look at you being culture. Look at you being culture.
SPEAKER_01I did the research at 12 though. So it's like imagine learning that at 12.
SPEAKER_04You know who actually from if we're talking about from then until like today, like present time, I it'll probably be Nicki Minaj.
SPEAKER_02That's a good one. I come up with her story, it's crazy too.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. I love Nikki. I I need I do need to know what happened, like where to turn.
SPEAKER_04The turn. Yeah, I so that's like, yeah, the turn is we wanna we ain't going to attribute that to the Philly nigga.
SPEAKER_01No. Jay would be good too, though.
SPEAKER_02Jay-Z?
SPEAKER_04Jay, I feel like Jay paints so many.
SPEAKER_02Jay would be great. It's gonna be the perfect time. I feel like if we get it, like someone got it already or get it right now, we wouldn't have it.
SPEAKER_04We gotta wait. We gotta wait.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, for what we gotta wait, we gotta wait till you really like Jay-Z gotta really get their story like after it's all over. Like certain people, like you could make their shit while they may be up there in age, 60, yeah, 70. But like people like him, you gotta wait till it's over. Like, cause you just never know what what he might do.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I think Jay will be. If I yeah, if I could switch it from Usher, it would be Jay. Not Usher, from um fucking Justin Bieber, it'll be Jay. I think I really want to see that.
SPEAKER_04You really you really connecting the dots today.
SPEAKER_01I got a lot going on. It's the Ederall.
SPEAKER_04So I would I'm changing gears real quick. I do want to talk about um this. I don't want to I don't want to make this about young Miami because I fuck with young Miami. It's so hard, it's so hard being politically correct now and nowadays. One thing being in the industry taught me is I'm I will meet these people at a certain point in time, which I never would have thought back then. If you don't know me, I was like super just unapologetically myself on Twitter back in the days. I said a lot of things about a lot of people that I never thought I would cross paths with, and then ironically, I would cross paths with these people, and then they would meet me, and then we would do things and like, oh hey, I'm gonna tag you in this picture, and then I'd be blocked by them, and they'd be like, I haven't met you before, and I'd be like, No, you probably just blocked me off of, you know, I probably said something about you on Twitter or something. So I don't want to go down that path nowadays. Um, I'll tell that story uh sometime in the future. But that's sick. I see I seen a video of Young Miami previewing. She was on Joe and Jada podcast, she was previewing like a song, and they was like going crazy, like just like the song was like the best shit. Like it was thriller, damn near. I want to ask y'all, have y'all seen the clip first and foremost?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I was like, I didn't see the clip, I listened to the song though.
SPEAKER_04Did you like the song?
SPEAKER_01You know what?
SPEAKER_04I kinda like that's her saying it by the way. No.
SPEAKER_01I kinda like the song. It gave me um Yeah, be correct on the pod. It gave me like scammer Larry June. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_04Like it was like Larry June got me blocked.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_02Coolest nigga. What did you say?
SPEAKER_04I tweeted one day. I said he rapped like he leaving voicemails.
SPEAKER_02I feel like that's a knock on him though. I mean, I can see why.
SPEAKER_04I didn't know I was just I was just tweeting my thoughts. Being me.
SPEAKER_01You know what? I got a lot, I got a friend named Summer who is constantly being blocked by people because she won't shut up on Twitter, and I love her, and she'll see this and be like, Y'all won't shut the fuck up. T Summer has taught me to not say any. I don't even I don't speak on Twitter. I don't speak on Twitter anymore. I'm cool. I don't want to be blocked by nobody. I don't know what I'm trying to do. I might, I might need to have a conversation with Davies, and then I just said something crazy and now I'm blocked.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I literally went through that. We went to we went to lip, I'm gonna tell the story. We went to lip service one time to do, and I'm I'm cool I'm real tight with Gigi McGuire out there. And we went through lip service one time with Mona and on a couple of occasions, but the first time we went, we in there and I get to meet everybody, Angela and Stephanie, everybody for the first time or whatever, and then we would l we literally took like you know pictures, group pictures at the end, and it was like, oh everybody's trying to tag me in the pictures, and it was like, yo, you're not popping up. I was like, well, Mona, you it's only one time flies out there, and he was like, Oh, you wild, I got you blocked. And I was like, I have no idea. So then I went home, right? And then I searched like my name and anything I ever said about them. The tweets aren't there no more, I'll say that. But it was like it was some crazy shit.
SPEAKER_02You know, that's like a thing. That's some crazy shit in the industry. Like, I know like when you meet people, like that's like a thing. Like they'll have like their assistant or like whatever, like find your social media, like if they start taking a liking to you, like they'll do that. Like Nicki Minaj is known for that. But like I know so many other people in the industry that do that. Like they'll literally go search all types of shit in your Twitter and all that, just like if you were saying something.
SPEAKER_04Every year, once a year, I asked Kay Michelle to unblock me. She always say no. Like I DM like unblocking. You gonna suffer her, Peter has blocked me. It's been um Peter Peter, like the animal, yeah, it's like it's a long story.
SPEAKER_02No, um man, I heard beef on animal.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it's it's it's truly like I remember like I said something about I remember I remember Wendy Williams tweeted like Happy Father's Day, and I replied was like same to you.
SPEAKER_01Why? Oh my god, why are you?
SPEAKER_04She so it's it's it's it's a couple things that I've learned not to do nowadays that you know has got me in those positions. Lil' Kim. I met Lil' Kim at one of Fendi's birthday parties. Those tweets are no longer there, but super, super nice. I'm like, damn. It's almost like I mean people, I'm like, damn, bro, you actually a cool person.
SPEAKER_01Like, why would I say that? Why would I be that fucking mean?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, like why would I ever do that?
SPEAKER_02I ain't gonna lie, I never got blocked. You change though. I did get blocked. I used to get blocked. When see when sports band first came out before because I'm a reform gambler. But when I'm trying to get there, when first first first came out, I ain't gonna lie, I used to be like one of those go at the niggas that sold you.
SPEAKER_04Like, yo, like yeah, yeah, you gotta let niggas know. You gotta let niggas know though. Yeah, yeah. Like we ain't even oh I would just tell I ain't betting on it no more.
SPEAKER_02So I ain't that's why I just left sports band and Twitter alone. I I I ain't gonna lie though, I will indulge though, like when shit goes mad. I am you got to. Yeah, I am looking. But I keep my comments, I just send my little jokes and shit to the group chat.
SPEAKER_04I ain't gonna keep it gonna learn in.
SPEAKER_01I've never been blocked, but I definitely was like kicked out of a live. Y'all know who Will got the juices?
SPEAKER_03TikToker.
SPEAKER_01TikToker, like Vine Dude. He was going through it because he got coaching with his baby mom. And I was in the comments like, that's cause you got four locks. Like, that's why she don't want to come back, cause you got four locks. That shit said, MJ, you said what? I said, Oh shit. Cook me.
SPEAKER_04See, a nigga like me and make a new page and go right back in there.
SPEAKER_02Are you really like that? No, you an honest troll though. You're in it for the love of the game.
SPEAKER_04I'm in there, I've been blocked. I'm back on your page.
SPEAKER_02Like if you're a dedicated troll, you in it for the love of the game, like you in it for the point, like I gotta say this evil, ignorant shit, no matter what, like no matter how many times they blocked me. I kind of respect those people more. Bro, you know the people that just casually just scroll past this shit, say some fuck shit and then keep it pushing.
SPEAKER_04So the the worst for me the worst for me has been Alicia Keys.
SPEAKER_02How how you all right a whole industry?
SPEAKER_04Alicia Keys, because I tweeted one time You can't even get it out.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_04I tweeted one time, Alicia, go see Alicia Keys Live or $16 in store credit as Aura. And people were actually like replying, like, oh give me the story credit. How is that my fault? Yeah, how was that my fault?
SPEAKER_01Because you you made it a group activity.
SPEAKER_04I was just tweeting my thoughts.
SPEAKER_01You made hating on Alicia a group activity. So, but shout out Alicia, class project, and that's why you got blocked.
SPEAKER_04I love Alicia Keys, by the way. Shout out to Alicia Keys. I'm blocking me. Um her and the last one, the worst one for me though was like, was like I had to like was like Megan Stalin, like her pupils.
SPEAKER_01Megan blocked you?
SPEAKER_04She ain't blocked me, but like her fans like were like upset with me.
SPEAKER_01I don't even want to hear what you it wasn't nothing crazy. I'm just I don't want to hear it. No, no, no, no.
SPEAKER_04I wouldn't I didn't say nothing bad about Megan. It was just I'm cool with Tori. I know Tori. Somebody I've met and I know. Not a public, the I'm not a, you know what I'm saying? It's none of that where I'm like super hate. You know what I'm saying? None of that. But I'm just somebody who I know personally that I'm cool with, who has helped me, done things for me. That's like, you know. And I just, you know.
SPEAKER_02You spoke out.
SPEAKER_04That was it. But I didn't really speak out. I just was like, we it was on Mona and them was talking about on the pie. I happened to be on the pie one day, and I just was like, notory, cool peoples, da da da da da. And it was like, oh fuck you. It's like, yo, I'm just this is my experience with somebody, you know what I'm saying? I mean, that's all. I didn't say nothing crazy about her. I met her before, and it was like, we took a picture in the airport. I promised you that was.
SPEAKER_01The way people feel about me, I say is how I feel about Megan.
SPEAKER_04So I didn't know Megan has those type of people, like the type of stands though. It's crazy.
SPEAKER_01I I I was watching Megan when Megan had the slick bag ponytail with the cargoes. I was watching Megan when she was in the group, the group freestyle, and everybody like, who is this? Who is this? I did my due diligence to find out who fucking Megan was, and then just to watch her story and then see her lose her mom and then continue to go forward. And Megan's Megan is such a beautiful person in and out, and it's just watching herself.
SPEAKER_04I didn't do all I posted because Tori was Tori was supposed to come on Ted Ben one time. We had talked about it. And this is right before everything kind of happened. And all I did was say, you know, we we didn't get a chance. I shared a conversation me and him had. And then it was all hell broke loose. They emailed Brick B. They all type of things. Yeah, so shout out to them though. I definitely respect the way y'all came together. Much better than Alicia Keys fans. We need like elevator music.
SPEAKER_01I'm you know, I'm really seeing you in a different light.
SPEAKER_02Like the mask is off.
SPEAKER_04No, you just you'll you'll you you meet me in a you meet me in a good time, a good space in life right now. I'm in a good space in life right now. I have a daughter now.
SPEAKER_01Um, so yeah, that I'ma get on that. I'ma get on that. I'm gonna get on that later.
SPEAKER_04Um but real quick, I know we just kind of did getting away real quick. So the reaction that Joe and Jada gave to Young Miami's music, which was a little bit exaggerated, I'll say that to you know, nicely. As at what point do we kind of draw the line and being like brutally honest with like people?
SPEAKER_01Or is that like a lost art nowadays in terms of like it's definitely a lost art because we're all trying to be politically correct. And I think it's important to know how to be politically correct and honest. Because you don't have to be like, you fucking suck as an artist, I hate this. But you can say, bro, maybe we could switch this to the third because I don't think that was that good. It's a way to say everything and still be brutally honest, but it it don't gotta be like mean as fuck. Like the world wants to be either super fucking mean or super nice, and we are seriously missing that in between space, that gray area as a society.
SPEAKER_04I agree.
SPEAKER_02See, I'm I'm kinda torn because I'm an artist. Yeah, but that's why I want to ask you too. Like how would you feel a certain way? But I also understand that if you're looking at it from like just from a business standpoint, when when business people, executives, and music people are listening to songs, are are they listening for them to be good? I mean, that's part of it. But majority of it is cannot sell it. Right. That's all right. So I can't. Yeah, like part of the excitement comes from like they know, like, oh yeah, people gonna eat this.
SPEAKER_04We gonna love this.
SPEAKER_02They're gonna love this. Niggas that scamming gonna love this. Just as scamming or just yeah, they're gonna love this. TikTok gonna eat this up. They they're gonna be able to create a dance. So when you look at it from that lens, I know exactly why they was excited because they like, oh yeah, you about to get back in motion. But from just critiquing a music standpoint, was it the best song I heard from her? Of course not. But I also understand that we live in a time where people want to capitalize off a moment that capitalized off a slang moment, cultural moment, bad things happening, good things happening, funny things happening, and people always try to like race and be the first one to like capture the moment. So it's like from that point, I can't never be at a art mad at an artist for trying something or going outside. I appreciate that perspective. It probably was a good plan, but it just probably wasn't executed away. Right.
SPEAKER_01I kinda liked it though. Like I think I think she has a demographic out there for it.
SPEAKER_04She definitely does.
SPEAKER_01Like I kind of liked it. I didn't really think, okay, so it gave me like City Girls grown up in a way. Like it gave me like a little hint of what the city girls used to be, but like, okay, maybe they are not tricking off some of these niggas, maybe 20 now. Like it's just a little less.
SPEAKER_04Like they lower the amount of and some of that shit be like regional too, because it's like we from here, you know, we're Miami. Yeah, it's like it's different. Yeah, it just it might hit different down there than it would here, you know what I'm saying? Or in New York somewhere. So it's like also, I feel like they've turned young Miami into like where now like anytime she does anything, music.
SPEAKER_03She's a meme.
SPEAKER_04Where's a meme? It helps sell the music. And I think she's leaning more into towards like, should I go up here? And the way they was going, it's like also why we talking about today, because their reaction to how it was, where the motherfuckers, like, man, that's that shit was terrible.
SPEAKER_01When you see them two fingers and two touching, there you go.
SPEAKER_02Another thing that you just highlighted too that just made me realize too, is like when like before, like social media was so prominent in our lives, something being bad was considered bad publicity. Right. But now it's no such thing as bad publicity. Even bad publicity equals engagement. Engagement is good regardless of why it's coming. Engagement is money. So whether your new photos leak or somebody leak your text message, or you got a number one record. It's like you feel me, the engagement is going to drive more money, and people just find ways to I'm saying, how to capitalize on it.
SPEAKER_04Why you why you make that feelings about the news being leaked?
SPEAKER_02Because don't never engage me in no leak news. I mean don't ever engage. Don't don't take new pictures. Because we live in a society where everything could be had.
SPEAKER_01No, we'll all hear, right? I'm gonna keep it in my biggest fear because going to school, I went to Upper Derby if anybody didn't know. Upper Derby was known for nothing but period. Upper Derby was known for nothing but pregnancies and expensive. That was another thing.
SPEAKER_03Oh shit.
SPEAKER_01They was known for their trains. My biggest year 2015, 16, 17, 18, some shit like that.
SPEAKER_04How you how you just stop that in the four-year? That don't just stop.
SPEAKER_01I mean, when I was there, Penwood, like all those places was known for that. Okay. My biggest fear was getting exposed. And I remember I was in like seventh grade and this girl got exposed. I said, I will never, ever, ever send, take nothing. Y'all not even gonna be able to hack into my iCloud. I don't play that. That is the biggest, like my biggest fear. Like, I couldn't imagine I'm doing all this now. And they're like, Yeah, you know, we like what you say on Mike, but here's your coochie. Like, what? Like, now I'm no longer a person. I'm just a a coochie on Mike. And I would never want to be a coochie on Mike. Like, that's y'all not scared of that. Like, nobody's scared of being exposed. What the fuck?
SPEAKER_04How bad is that? I don't know. Like, is that a bad thing?
SPEAKER_01All right, so you get exposed, you're just gonna be like, cool. Y'all see my weavy?
SPEAKER_02Um blessed, then it only works in your favor. It only works against you if you coming up short from it.
SPEAKER_01So it's kind of like so you put your pen on the internet and you cool with it.
SPEAKER_02Not willingly, willingly, but I'm saying, like, if it was to happen, it only works against you if you coming up short.
SPEAKER_01So somebody say, give me a thousand dollars, or I'm gonna post your pen.
SPEAKER_02If you got if you got a hammer, then you it's gonna get you more women. Or I'm giving you a thousand dollars. He got exposed. Don't post me.
SPEAKER_04I could you see the difference in the T app shit being. If women scrolling past and they read a review by the guy that was on there now, that ain't that ain't about to be.
SPEAKER_02I outgrew that. I was kind of proud of myself because I I come from lipstick alley, so like I heard I heard about them days that I didn't make that. I was like, oh, I'm finally not. I was on there, but it was a good thing. I'm not a a YN no more. It was thumbs up things. I was proud of myself.
SPEAKER_04It was good things on there. They hit my cousin. You went on there though, bro.
SPEAKER_02That's what I said. I was proud of myself. Trust me, I certainly I did. I said, Oh yeah. But that's I don't be lying to girls no more. I missed the T app.
SPEAKER_04That was a good why we missing that.
SPEAKER_01That was so fun. I used to meet people and just be like, damn, y'all, let's see if he won the TF. Yeah, like my cousin is on the TF. They was like, oh that nigga do is sit on that porch with that broke ass dog. And it's crazy because I called him. This nigga was really on the porch with that dog, bro.
SPEAKER_04Like, I told you, niggas lucky I ain't get it. I would have got a fake account, got on there and just dropped in comments by niggas. I don't even know. I'd have just been I'd just been putting anything. I'd have been commenting anything. Yeah, I met this touch, touch that, touch, touch it, did this, this, this, this, da-da-da-da. I'd have done embellished every fucking thing.
SPEAKER_01I was really on there being messed. I'm trying to change y'all, I promise you. I had two phones. No, at this point, I had my iPad. My dad bought me my iPad. So now I'm on an iPad taking pictures. Like that shit was crazy. I was keeping a hundred.
SPEAKER_02What was the first thing you searched? Like your most recent nigga or an old nigga? Because you searched up your niggas.
SPEAKER_01So like what I searched up my boyfriend in front of him. I said, if you're on this T app, I'm gonna punch you in your fucking mouth. So don't let me find I searched up every nickname.
SPEAKER_04We don't promote domestic apologies.
SPEAKER_01No, we don't promote domestic violence. But sometimes But that was domestic necessary, and that's a difference.
SPEAKER_04What if he on there and they like he's the greatest? What if he's on there and it's like the greatest guy ever? Like we we left this guy. No.
SPEAKER_01Who? Because at the end of the day, I do want people to have a good perception of you. I want I do want to know that when you dated other people. I'm not gonna lie.
SPEAKER_04If you want a T app and it's and it's like good reviews, you like a corny nigga though.
SPEAKER_01Why? So hold up. So I'm glad you just said you like a weirdo.
SPEAKER_04Why'd they post you with a T-app and your shit is all good shit? Like the great guy.
SPEAKER_01It's like I actually seen some guy we knew, and he was on the app and everything was like, Yeah, he a good guy, like this, then the third.
SPEAKER_02Like, I can't like he's but is that a flex to you as a girl? Like, if you if you dating a guy like your boyfriend and like every other girl was like, This nigga ain't shit, he dog me out, and then you like he the best nigga in the world to me. Is that like a flex?
SPEAKER_01No, because I don't want to date somebody who's a habitual bad person. But but he only been good to you. It doesn't matter because at some point, what if we do break up now? You're gonna be a bad person too. What if right now you're a good person and then eventually I start to see those traits of you being a bad person? I don't, I'm not a bad person. So my exes are never gonna be like, oh, she's this, she's that. I don't have like bad reviews about me as a person. So I would never want to date somebody who is known for being a bad person. Now you're good to me.
SPEAKER_04But every relationship wanted in and we hate each other.
SPEAKER_02It could just be always gonna end like that once it ends. My exes don't hate me.
SPEAKER_04How you don't know that?
SPEAKER_02You don't know that. Once it ended, we thought it never was gonna end. It ended. So now I hate you. They don't hate me, bro.
SPEAKER_04Like you could be on the fucking soda app.
SPEAKER_02That's just like I could be on the who app the soda app.
SPEAKER_04That's like the opposite of like the two. I guess. I don't know.
SPEAKER_01You know what they actually got they they got one for women.
SPEAKER_02Gingerell.
SPEAKER_01It was called like I can't remember what that shit was called, but I definitely for her or something.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, niggas is queen. Yeah, don't be posting no women on the well niggas do that already.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no, that's like it.
SPEAKER_04So it ain't about that like that.
SPEAKER_01Reddit is a scary place.
SPEAKER_04But um, but wait, so before we I don't want to I just certain things just don't leave my brain. So you said you didn't want to be you wouldn't want to be known for that, even though that's what your school in upper derby ship was known for. So that that altered you from ever taking and sending anything. Yes, I have never I do not believe you.
SPEAKER_02That's a flex. If you ain't lying.
SPEAKER_01Oh god, I've never sent I've never sent a naked picture. I've never sent a naked picture ever. I've never sent a naked picture in my life. Like that's crazy. The smirk is kind of like half and half with me. No, because I've never sent one ever. I would never do that. Like the smirk is like you holding my feet on taking a picture of my feet and sending like that's weird shit. Like, I'm not I'm not sending toes, I'm not sending naked shit.
SPEAKER_02Cause that's just crazy. Like I ain't gonna lie, your alibi kind of like Toes and Cool.
SPEAKER_01Everybody in here kind of like I don't know. You real specific. Because that's like it's just like these are specific things I've seen. It was like, no, I'm not doing that. Like, y'all got it.
SPEAKER_04So you so you the type like nigga be like, send me a picture, you like see it in person. Cause they always got blocked and deleted on my phone.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, she be like, no. I usually my when I was like 18, my boyfriend at the time, we was like really together, he broke up me because he was like, So you're never gonna send me nothing. I'm like, I'm never gonna do that. Do you ask? For what? Anything from men. I don't want to see a penis. I'm just asking. I'm not gonna I barely like men. So I really don't want to see that shit. Like, why are you sending me that? I'm just curious. Like, why are you why is why is there a dick in my phone? I don't want to see that. And you know what, y'all men, so y'all don't know what it's like. You've never opened up a DM and it'd be like, hey, Meleica. And I'm like, oh, this must be business. Open it up, dick. I don't want to see that.
SPEAKER_02So just off the rip, no, hey, how you doing? Just straight. Well, y'all go through shit like that? That's wild.
SPEAKER_01Your name, Meleica. I'm like, Meleica, why are you everybody dressed me as MJ? I opened penis.
SPEAKER_02That's different. That's like an extra level of hornyness.
SPEAKER_01Like, it's scary. Like, that's that that's an that's a scary level of horny. Like, you so horny, you're just gonna send me your what do you think I'm gonna do with this? Like, what do you think is gonna happen after this? Like, oh my god, look at his wee wee and my guy's so cute.
SPEAKER_04That's probably the whole set. You like, oh, where you at?
SPEAKER_02Niggas shooting from the parking lot with that.
SPEAKER_04Niggas is shooting from Venus.
SPEAKER_01You just gonna send Dick Pig. No, no, what's your cash app? No, you see now. No, what no, what's your cash?
SPEAKER_02You just justify Dick Pick, you but with that one, would you just follow? You just justify everything.
SPEAKER_00What's your cash in?
SPEAKER_01And I'm and I'm gonna take that because now I'm being paid for my penny. Like, I'm just gonna delete and go about my business, but at least I got a cash in.
SPEAKER_02See, that muddies the waters though. No, because now they don't think that is wrong. You know, it's wrong.
SPEAKER_01It was wrong. It's wrong, but now I'm being paid for my pain. Like, I'm a woman, I go through enough on a daily. Like, at least pay me for my troubles. It was like, I mean, fuck you and this dick pic, but I am gonna go get a seafood boy. Like, it could be worse. It could be dick pic, no money. My thing, my you, I mean, where you I don't see messages from people I don't know, so I don't give a fuck. I don't I don't talk to people I don't know. I don't talk to I don't talk to strangers. I don't do strangers.
SPEAKER_04I ain't gonna lie, I stopped opening niggas uh like request DMs. Yeah, like somebody I remember one time nigga just DM me was like grow your beard. And and I was blocked. I'm like, fuck I do to you, nigga. The fuck? Like like my my request, man. Listen, shout out to y'all, yo. I fuck with y'all. I love y'all, yo.
SPEAKER_02My teeth was little with shit one time.
SPEAKER_04It just be the yeah, it'd be like it just be the I remember what this girl posted, this girl was blatantly scamming on the timeline. And me being me, I just quoted and was like, damn, like even a screenshot look fake. She DM me like, why you on my dick? And then she blocked me. And I was like, Yeah, it's like, damn, my fault. I just was, you know, just being me.
SPEAKER_01What's the worst thing you've ever been DM'd?
SPEAKER_04The worst thing I've ever been DM'd?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like what's the worst like comment you've ever gotten?
SPEAKER_04Man, it's a lot. I'm not gonna lie. I got a lot of hate mail from the people, the fans of the people that I've gotten to it with. If I had to pick one, let me see. Um this this I'm trying to think. A fan used to like send me like paragraphs like daily of like just like I love you type shit.
SPEAKER_01Oh. You had a stalker.
SPEAKER_04Pretty much.
SPEAKER_01Did you feel bonita?
SPEAKER_04I never like opened it. It was just like I would just read it and then like leave off the DM. But it was like literally like a daily basis type.
SPEAKER_01I feel like men don't get enough stalkers. Like men don't get stalked for real. Where you were a little bit like in the back of your head, it was like, yeah, I got a stalker. That's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_02Like you know you felt like it's like a little bit, but like it's scary, bro.
SPEAKER_04It was like, it was like, I remember one time the the cre Oh damn. Shout out to my my friend of mine. I remember one time I was read, I was like guiding, I was reading, I showed uh shout out to Lady Linda, that's my friend. I showed she ain't believe me. I was like, yo, bro, look at this. Like showed her. She was like, what the fuck? People were actually and I'm like, yeah, like this is a daily thing. Like, yeah, but shout out to her. She stopped doing it after I guess she was like, oh, this nigga married, or whatever the case may be. It was like, yeah. See ya. I wasn't married then, but still, it was like, don't be stuck.
SPEAKER_01That's I don't think I've ever had a stalker, but that's insane.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I mean, same thing. Niggas send you they they they pipe and this pretty much same same atmosphere to me.
SPEAKER_02Same behavior. Same reaction to the thing.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no. Yeah, but that didn't make me feel bonita.
SPEAKER_02So I can't believe niggas coming off the hip like that.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I've never been that guy. Jump out the window. I'm I'm scared I'm going to get police.
SPEAKER_01Instead of gun compartment, it was like dick department. Here you go. Let me get it too.
SPEAKER_04Uh uh, let me let's get into uh stay on music a little bit. I know we were just going from DM sit to music, but Complex put out their list of top 100 hottest artists at the at the moment. Y'all, y'all was y'all couldn't believe it when I got in here.
SPEAKER_01I was over chance over irritated.
SPEAKER_04And I didn't even get a chance to take a look to a look at the list yet, but y'all was already giving me some of the names.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no, I'm overly irritated.
SPEAKER_04I want to read off metric. I want to read off oh the metric is the internet and rage being had the nerve to have you like, oh, reorder the list, boy.
SPEAKER_01Fuck you. I'm not reordering the list.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, like and that's the thing, like I feel like that that's when you start doing, and I feel like when when big uh platforms like Complex do stuff like that, it helps because it gives the fans engagement, but then I feel like it takes away the credibility when the fans feel like they gotta fix shit for you. You know what I'm saying? It's like we came to Complex to know what's the new, what's the end. Like, is this my list or is this your list? And then now we looking at your list like it's not credible. Let me fix this shit. So now you got the fans feeling like man, I'm not even listening to them no more. It's like it takes away like the the overall nostalgic feeling of like reading certain publications and like taking their expertise.
SPEAKER_04Can I I want you? I just want to read off the the top 25. I don't top 25 and up. I just want to read off that in order and just see if we got any issues with where anybody placed. Um 25 Lil' Yachty.
SPEAKER_02Yachty, that's about 25. I'm not mad at that. That's not that's not irritating. Could have been anywhere between 20 and 25, so I'm not mad at it.
SPEAKER_04Somebody that don't know no. 24 Rye Wave.
SPEAKER_02Disrespectful.
SPEAKER_01Oh, no, you know what? You just said I'm gonna shut up.
SPEAKER_02He should be lower.
SPEAKER_04I mean 23, 23 Lotto. I feel like Lotto should be higher.
SPEAKER_02Lotto. She should be low, higher, or yeah. Yeah, I feel like she should be higher. Lotto should be higher.
SPEAKER_04And then 22, 21, Savage. You could drop him a little bit.
SPEAKER_01He's not over Lotto. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_0421 TI.
SPEAKER_02No. They just doing anything now.
SPEAKER_0420 Dochi.
SPEAKER_02That's I respect that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, Dochi could actually be a little higher.
SPEAKER_0419 Gunner. I would have thought Gunner would top 10.
SPEAKER_02Um, not top 10, but top 15.
SPEAKER_01Are they talking about rappers or just artists?
SPEAKER_04Hottest. It's hottest rappers right now.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. I would say top 15, top 12 for Gunner.
SPEAKER_0418, Tyler the Creator.
SPEAKER_02They disrespectful. 19? Top 10.
SPEAKER_0417, ASAP Rocky. No.
SPEAKER_01He's too high.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, he's way too high.
SPEAKER_01He's too high.
SPEAKER_02That's because he's Rihanna Baby Dad.
SPEAKER_04Which is a prestigious title to hold, but my brother, we don't, we don't. Um, six, fifteen pooh shy. Oh, 16 Playboy cardia, I'm sorry. 16.
SPEAKER_01I'm not mad at that. I don't know if that's I think that might be a little too high right now.
SPEAKER_0415 Pooh Shys D.
SPEAKER_02I'm not mad at Shys D being right there.
SPEAKER_0414 S S D kid.
SPEAKER_02S D kid. That's the guy from over London, whatever. Okay. He's not doing that.
SPEAKER_04Okay. Uh 13, future.
SPEAKER_02Future should be higher. He should be top 10.
SPEAKER_0412, Uzi.
SPEAKER_02I'm not mad at Uzi.
SPEAKER_0411, Cardi.
unknownB.
SPEAKER_02Oh, all right. I'm not mad at that.
SPEAKER_0410, Baby Keem. I don't get the baby keem right. That's neither here nor the air.
SPEAKER_02No, I ain't gonna lie. Baby King being number nine. 10. I feel like he he number 10. I feel like him and Cardi could have swapped. But I'm not mad at that right there, though.
SPEAKER_04Number nine, yay. Kanye West.
SPEAKER_02I ain't mad at that.
SPEAKER_04Eight Hove. No.
SPEAKER_01How the fuck is Hove 8? How is Hove 8? How?
SPEAKER_02How is this? We've been booking a Super Bowl for the last seven years.
SPEAKER_01American Gangster? How is Hove 8?
SPEAKER_04Hottest rappers right now, present day. Like in the world.
SPEAKER_01We don't give a fuck what day it is. I don't give a fuck if you it's weird, but it's like we're not like, come on, bro.
SPEAKER_04You can argue. Okay, so the next person, Travis Scott, is seven.
SPEAKER_02Travis shouldn't even be up there. Travis should be top six. Six?
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_04You can argue him being him being hotter than Hove right now?
SPEAKER_02Yes. I mean, obviously, it's Jay-Z, so it's always gonna be like the ask surrounding his name of like is new music coming and shit like that. But like, come on, bro. Niggas is smoking. Niggas is not spinning hold right now in the club. Niggas is not spinning hole right now at concerts, the intermission, none of that. No.
SPEAKER_01I'm not trying to hear that.
SPEAKER_04Number six, Don Tolliver.
SPEAKER_01I I'm five. Alright, he's T.
SPEAKER_02Number six right now.
SPEAKER_04Five Yeet.
SPEAKER_02No. I feel like Don Tolliver should have been over Yeet. I can't tell you what Yeek's on.
SPEAKER_01I think Ye shouldn't have even been in like top 20, no shade eight.
SPEAKER_04I feel like we there's no arguments in the top four, because we got NBA four.
SPEAKER_01I'll give him that.
SPEAKER_02That's the only thing they got right, was the first four.
SPEAKER_04Kendrick three.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Drake two, Cole 1. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And it's that's all three of those are entertaining.
SPEAKER_02I would say I'm cool with Cole 1 because it was his year. He's the most active. He's the most active right now. So one and three, we all know that always interchanges depending on the year that they're having. So I'm not mad at the first four, but all that other shit is do to.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no, I don't know what they fucking talk about.
SPEAKER_04So we let me just say this real quick before we move off of here. I just want to name some people they had in the top 100. Uh Flow Millie 99.
SPEAKER_01Flow should have been higher. Way higher.
SPEAKER_04Meek Mill at 85.
SPEAKER_01I don't even I don't understand why they would put him at 85.
SPEAKER_04Way higher.
SPEAKER_01Meek should have been top 10 low-key, if not 15. Minimum top 15. Definitely top 10, like 70.
SPEAKER_04Zeddy Will 83. Uh Young Miami 74.
SPEAKER_01Meek was 80, 89, and fucking 83.
SPEAKER_04Uh Lu Chi 66. Moneybag 65. Lil Wayne 64. Yeah, it's a little Ice Spice 53. Bossman D'O 51. Chief Keith 50. Ice over Meek. French Montana 49. Doja Cat 45. Meg the Stallion 42. Max B 37.
SPEAKER_02Like, how you put a Max B over Doja Cat, Meg the Style on the Chocolate? That's crazy. A run for the last five to six years. Like, come on.
SPEAKER_01Where's Meg?
SPEAKER_0442.
SPEAKER_01Meg should be higher.
SPEAKER_04Sexy Red 27. G Herbo 32. Glorilla, 33. Push a T 34. Young Thug 35.
SPEAKER_02Push 34. I'm not mad at none of them besides Sexy Red. I think Push could be higher. Push.
SPEAKER_01Push could be higher because this was this was a good year for him.
SPEAKER_02I mean, push could be higher, but I mean, it's a like you gotta be realistic and take your fan, not you, but I'm just saying people in general. You gotta take your fan hat off. Like the clips music in general is an acquired taste. It's not like mainstream across the board.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I can get that. I still think he should have been higher though. Like clips alone, not clips alone, push alone. I oddly enough, I'm not really a big clips fan. I respect their artistry, but I I feel like push. Like not Lolly.
SPEAKER_02That's the one he in my top five, but you just gotta just when you gotta look at the full picture, when you look at the full picture. Like their last album was T.
SPEAKER_01Like it's no way.
SPEAKER_02Then he before Drake too, so it's like that's another thing. He on the he on the on the receiving end of a battle with the biggest rapper. So then you got the finicky fans. It's like giving him a chance. Right. Like I'm not never listening to him. He went against Drake, I'm never listening to him. Them pills is pressed. And I that's the part I hate about music in general right now. Or just it's too it's the stand shit. Entertainment. Yeah, entertainment right now is like you gotta pick a side, and it's like what happened to the duality of like knowing you getting this from this person, I'm getting the funny from here, I'm getting the edgy shit over here, I'm getting the informative shit over here. Like, it's like nah, like everybody just wanna be like, if I'm like this, I can't like that.
SPEAKER_04I tweeted pushup is probably one of my favorite disc records of all time. Nigga, the Kendrick fans did not let me sleep. Oh, you a weird nigga. You did it. Bro, I didn't I just I never said nothing about nobody else, but I just like this song. And it was like, you can't, you need to pick. Alright, bro.
SPEAKER_01But you don't have to.
SPEAKER_04I don't even I don't even do it.
SPEAKER_01The world has like really weird parents.
SPEAKER_04It's we in such a weird space now. I don't even pay. That shit just like it is what it is.
SPEAKER_02I be trying to keep my opinions to myself because I don't be wanting to sound like I aged out. Because when I was young, I chose a side. I chose 50 Cent over Johnny. Oh yeah, maybe you had but at that point in time it was like, but I chose Beanie Seagull over JD Kiss, so it's like But if a kiss song came on, you wasn't like I ain't and that's the part I was never like I'm not listening to Kiss because I'm taking beans from the case. I'm just picking who I feel like I'm just going with beans, but I'ma still listen to every kiss song that come out, every D block song. It wasn't never no boycott. And I feel like that's the where same shit.
SPEAKER_04I was with I was I was on hole side, I was on 50 side, but when Ja Rule dropped, the shit was all that shit. I was still knocking, all that shit. You know what I'm saying? So it was like we just in a weird space right now with a bunch of fucking internet niggas that grew up on the internet and never been outside.
SPEAKER_01Things are too parasocial. Like you can't make a post about anything. You can make a post about I like to eat peanut butter and jelly, and they be like, Well, I don't like to eat peanut butter and jelly because it's like bitch, who fucking asked you about your peanut butter? You don't like it, scroll.
SPEAKER_04Or just simply as put, I like peanut butter. But what's wrong with jelly?
SPEAKER_01Like, all right now, you and my like it's like that's that's where we are.
SPEAKER_04That's where we are. It's like, come on, bro.
SPEAKER_02I hate those comments.
SPEAKER_04But um, yeah, but shout out to complex. I mean, y'all know what this list is for to do things like this for to rage bit us. Engagement. It is what it is. Last thing before we get out of here, though, I do want to I did want to ask y'all about um something I was talking about with my homies, was uh social etiquette for social on social media in terms of for men following your homies like girl or somebody talking to. Is there regulations behind being able to like like certain things or a level of interaction with them? Um and a lot of different conversations was back and forth between like my homies and our group chat or whatever, but I want to know from a man, you know what I'm saying, a woman's perspective, is there you following your man's like girl, like she posts like a beach pit on a in a bikini or something like that, like you screw scrolling?
SPEAKER_02I'm not liking, I'm not liking no provocative picks unless I'm unless my guy is in them. Okay. If y'all doing provocative things together, I like it, cheer y'all on, talk my shit in the comments. But just provocative flicks of your girl, like no, I'm not liking it. If I met, and and then my whole thing is it's like, how did I did I meet your girl when you met your girl? So like we kind of met.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it's like this is my girl, yo, it's my man, then y'all meet like this now. Y'all but y'all, y'all, y'all cool, but it's still just like I met you for.
SPEAKER_02Like, you my man, and then at some point you like, yo, this my girl, and you introduce me to your girl, it's no need for me to follow her on social media. It's no, it's no need. Like, it's no need for me to follow her on social media at all.
SPEAKER_04I was saying, I was saying that too, because I'm like, people like I seen somebody say, like, I'm never following my person my friend's significant other or anybody on social media. I was like, I don't think that's weird though, especially if I feel like if I know you, like, like we become like not even gonna say friends, but like we cool, you know what I'm saying? Where they say we take a group picture together, and you know what I'm saying? You're take we all tagged in it and we just haven't to follow each other. I don't think that's like weird, but I do feel like the provocative shit though is like don't like my bitch on the on the beach, bro.
SPEAKER_02Like if we at Tom Wetton, yeah, and I meet her, and she were her boyfriend, and she were her husband, and they together and everybody exchanged information, that's cool. Yeah, we were somewhere that time called for that. We all know we human, we socialize.
SPEAKER_01It's like why are you following him late at night? Like randomly start like his gym pictures late at night, like that's weird.
SPEAKER_02Like we at the wedding, and then you follow my girl after the wedding. After we leave? After everybody left, and then she like, hey, you know this person, they follow me. And then you see they story, they was at the wedding. You like, oh yeah, now I'm like, no.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, now you looking at it a little. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Because that's lame. It's like I don't like that shit. I don't like nothing else. Yeah, you don't you don't leave no interpretation for another man to feel like you're disrespecting his woman at no point. Like, if I'm not, that's why if you notice, like in movies and shit, like back in the day, when a man knocks on a door and a woman answer, they always say, Is it a man home? Because you never supposed to talk to no man, no, nobody's wife or anything when it's when a man is not present. So it's like, oh, I'll come back when your husband is home. Even salespeople most of the time are like that because it's the head household or whatever. It's like a thing because you just like things can be interpreted crazy. Like we just was saying off camera when you said people think like, you know, yeah, like interactions would be more because some people chemistry don't lie, you know what I'm saying? Even though it can be interpreted a certain way, it that could be wrong. Yeah, chemistry is real, so chemistry with friendship looks the same as it looked. You got a point. You got a point. Interpretation is where the diff where you differentiate. It's like, oh, they just cool. No, they are.
SPEAKER_01I just feel like it's no reason. Like, if you're not a part of my core group, like I got like four to five friends, that's my core group. Anybody else that I'm cool with shouldn't be following my man. Like, I don't understand, like you have no reason to follow my man, and then on top of that to follow him and then like gym pictures.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, certain things.
SPEAKER_01Why are you oh man? Why are you doing that? Like, why shirt off, half naked?
SPEAKER_04Do you address that that person?
SPEAKER_01People don't play with me like that. But if that was the case, like would you though?
SPEAKER_04Would you like hey? Yeah, how would you go about that? I would like to know.
SPEAKER_01I would have been like, oh hey girl, um I I noticed he was like, you know, you follow my man, which is cool, you know. I I follow him too. So I will I understand why you won't follow him. Okay, and then you liked his gym picture, and I liked it too, because it looked good, but then I noticed you liked another one and another and another one. So I'm just wondering, like, what is your reasoning behind liking all these pictures? And now you have to explain why you like them. Because what's your reason? You just did it just to do it.
SPEAKER_04Because I do know you know women, but then didn't any screenshot and put any close friends, like I just liked, I just follow a nigga on Instagram. Now here and now you go looking like the crazy, yeah. You know what I'm saying? You know, shit like that do exist. And whole time she can be like, Oh, I just didn't think nothing of it. I just like the picture.
SPEAKER_01Okay, and that's cool. And if I got a look crazy for a second, I gotta look crazy for a second. I don't mind looking crazy if it's be if it's behind something like that. I respect it.
SPEAKER_04I respect it.
SPEAKER_01But I also hate men on the internet. Like, I just like like you ever see somebody you know and they got like a girlfriend or like some shit like that, or a girl has a boyfriend, it's like she follows every Instagram nigga, or he follows every fucking fat booty bitch on Instagram. Like, why are you following every every time I scroll and I see a BBL or I see a twerk vet, I see one of the likes, I see one that follows.
SPEAKER_04That's my uncle.
SPEAKER_02But like, and that's a but it's like I don't like that. Excuse me. Is social media for you to like stuff or is for you to spy on stuff? Because I don't like people that just like scroll and scroll and scroll and like they don't like nothing, they don't acknowledge nothing. It's like it's a way to like stuff, and that doesn't always I feel like social media You gotta like every fat ass though.
SPEAKER_01You gotta like every BBL, you follow every fucking BBL bitch, every Instagram model, you with me. Why are you like unfollow that? I'm sorry. If I'm late, unfollow that.
SPEAKER_02But this is your for you page, which means you are looking at the content.
SPEAKER_04Why are you do you scroll and see your fat ass that you like every now and again?
SPEAKER_01That's different. Oh see, that's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_04Like the brother with Rashad McKenzie.
SPEAKER_01If the if the person I was with was like, mmm, don't do that, I'd be like, okay, cool. If the person I was with was like, I feel uncomfortable or I feel embarrassed knowing that every time I scroll and I see you following every bitch with a fat ass, I'd be like, okay, cool, I'll follow, unfollow every bitch with a fat ass, because it's never been that serious. Like it's never been that serious.
SPEAKER_02So it's just like, I mean, my person, my personal approach with anything with women in general, is like, it's always gonna be a nigga that got more money than me. It's always gonna be a nigga cooler than me. It's always gonna be a nigga with a bigger. You not a woman either. So I gotta just do me. And if I'm doing me is not enough, then I gotta accept the case. I'm finna ask the crowd. Where do women at?
SPEAKER_04It's only um one in here.
SPEAKER_01Okay. Or are one woman in a crowd? If your man, you are you okay with your man following a bunch of IG models that post naked? Are you okay with every time you turn around, you see, and it's like, damn, followed by my nigga. You scroll again, another one, followed by my nigga, you scroll again, followed by my nigga. Mind you, because you're seeing followed by your nigga, like by your nigga, posted by your nigga. You're not gonna be like, okay, cool, now everybody know we together, but you following all of this? You don't think that's weird? You don't think they look weird on me a little bit? Because if I'm following every fucking workout gym nigga with fucking big biceps with a bunch of money posting that shit all the time, dick printing all out, I'm a little crazy. It's gonna be like, damn, why your girlfriend doing it? Why your girlfriend following this freaky ass nigga who posts on OnlyFans? Why he doing why she doing it? They're gonna be like, damn, what's up with you? Why you with this freaky ass bitch?
SPEAKER_02Cause she's freaky.
SPEAKER_01I'm feel weird. No. I'm for weird.
SPEAKER_04I see the vision.
SPEAKER_01I see the vision.
SPEAKER_04I gotta be.
SPEAKER_01It's like when you was a kid and you was thinking somebody, oh, you little daughter. Like, technically, I'm little deebar. So okay, cool. I'm not gonna run around and just be like, dang, I feel like you know what you got though. If you know what you got, then you shouldn't be surprised. I don't give a it's not about what I got, bitch.
SPEAKER_04Well, I don't like, I don't like that is women's logic. I feel like it's it's it's a difference though in carrying yourself in real life outside. Like, you know what I'm saying? I don't think you're going to see said nigga with biceps or said nigga with paws, all of that stuff on the corner, and you're like, hey, like in real life. It's like you might look, but it's like you ain't really saying or interact.
SPEAKER_01But I also have to understand everybody runs a different program. And I forgot my program is a lot stricter than a lot of people's program.
SPEAKER_02But so is mine. But and my whole thing is it's like you gotta pick your poison, you gotta know when to get off. So it's like for me personally, when I look at married women on social media, it's like for a married woman or a woman in a serious relationship, you got your times where you get off. We go on, you go on vacation, you know that's your time to get off. You you already know you're gonna be in bikinis, you're gonna be in shit that's skimpy looking good. If you showing off, you got a nice figure. That's your time to get off. Your vacation picks. It shouldn't just be a regular Saturday afternoon and niggas is just seeing you kicked up on some shit. Like, no, I ain't with that. But if I know I got some fire shit and we out, all right, go ahead. This is your time to G off. I'm gonna take your photos, I'm gonna be your photographer, I'm gonna let you do your little captions and show off for that little week or whatever we away, and then we go back, it's back to Susie Homemaker. I get to see that shit behind closed doors, nobody else. Like the number one thing that makes me mad, I'm sorry to go on this rant. So No, it's okay. What's the thing with girls taking a birthday photos or whatever and the lingerie and all of that, and they be like, this for my man, or Valentine's Day, this for my man, but I'm seeing it. I ain't paid for that shit.
SPEAKER_04Or they post or they post, or they post this is for my man? Yeah, or like or the caption is deleting later and it be up there three months later.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Niggas have screenshotted you and sent you up State Road already, baby. It's over. Niggas have sold you for five dollars.
SPEAKER_04That shit is over. Yeah, I don't, I never, I never dislike like you know, you know, we we have to go through to get shit like that back then. That's what I'm saying. Like, we have the fucking claw.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I've never like posted something that was like a little provocative and been like, this is this is filled, delete later. I'll be like, no, bitch, I'm posting this now. Like, it just is what it is.
SPEAKER_04I'm so much of an asshole, I will really come back and be like, well, it's been six months.
SPEAKER_01You sick! Ha no, you're you're sick.
SPEAKER_04Like, I'm I do shit like that. You need therapy, but so I agree with both, I agree with both perspectives and and and viewpoints on it. I think for me the difference would be like, because all that shit fine, like lightning certain shit, like that's like I will definitely say something though, like, yo, what the fuck? Like, I think close friends, shit like that, don't take it over the top for me. Like, I don't don't put my my girl in the club. How do you find out about it? Because you might just be you might just be look, she might be like, oh, look at someone, look at the real with something on her phone. Look at the AI fruit videos on my phone, and then you see your homie right there, green bubble.
SPEAKER_02You like is that grounds to break up? If you find out that your partner got a close friend that you're not at.
SPEAKER_01Wait, you saying like if your girlfriend has a close friend so you're not in a quote? I don't want to be if they got a yeah, my boyfriend and I am my close friends.
SPEAKER_04See, that's I don't think I don't think it's weird.
SPEAKER_01Like he don't give a fuck about close friends.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I don't really care either. I'm gonna be real.
SPEAKER_01You don't give a fuck about close friends.
SPEAKER_04I'm in my wife's job, but I could not be in there. It's like I know what you post, like my daughter.
SPEAKER_01But I'd be in there talking shit about him. It'd be me and the girls, and I'm like, I'm too. This man's so fucking annoying.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, which I get, I get I get both sides of it. I get both sides of it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I'm in your iPad.
SPEAKER_04I get both sides of it.
SPEAKER_02I'm like the federal government. Like, I say the real that motherfucking iPad. I'm I'm on you. Yeah, I got two digits from over here this month, three months later. I get iPad shit is dangerous. I'm on your ass.
SPEAKER_04I'm not I get I get both sides of it, but also like if you know your like your partner, you like I know she don't post, like you know, you you know, you know what type of girl you got. So you like I know she ain't posting her in the mirror or her, you know what I'm saying? Like just certain things, or you mean gotta I don't gotta worry about that being in the close friends.
SPEAKER_02I'm just not a liar to myself. I'm scandalous, so I'm looking for the scandal.
SPEAKER_01Oh, that's your problem. Yeah, I'm scandalous. I don't post crazy shit. Tom, you and my close friends. Yeah, I'll be in there like, hey yo, I'm about to kill my.
SPEAKER_02It's like it's like, yeah, I'm scandalous.
SPEAKER_01It'd be like fucking stupid ass memes. I'll put I'll post a thousand memes in my close friends.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, see, I would hate your close friends. Get me out of here.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, nigga said that before, like working, you know. I don't do I don't do freaky shit. No.
SPEAKER_02We turning up.
SPEAKER_04Her shit for the guys, it's like me out of there.
SPEAKER_01I don't want to see you big. No, because that's the thing, like I got legit guy friends, so it's like, why would I post my coochie body part? Like, why would I post my coochie in my close friends? Like, my brother in the middle. Yeah, I'd be like, hey uh, um, be not afraid, I'm gonna kill myself today. They be like, period, me too.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, because I know my shit. My shit terrible. So it'd be like my shit before. I should be I should be smoothie. Hey y'all, morning. Smoothie, my son.
SPEAKER_01Look at this clip. The best the best thing is the baby. The best thing is the baby and the son. That's the best thing.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah. That's it. That's how y'all get in my clip.
SPEAKER_02Like a um like a HBO once a month new movie. It's like once they see my green shit pop up, like it don't pop up too often. It's a movie. I know somebody like that. Cause it's gonna it's gonna take you through there. Like I don't want you to take it for her. I'm trying to get where he is. That's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_01I know this guy I went to high school with, and like he was posting his close friends, and he was like, it was like a like a caution. I'm like, caution, what the fuck? Like, you about to drop music, some pictures, what's going on? Oh, you could coochie, ass, dick sucks, coochie, ass again, more dick sucks. I said, Oh no, take me out of this.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, see, I love my gram too much to risk it like that. Like, why are you respecting?
SPEAKER_04You know you got seeing your shit.
SPEAKER_01Female friends in here. I don't, you're my friend. I don't want to see your wee wee bro, and now we're not friends, because why would you why would you expose me to that? Unsolicited, unconsensually.
SPEAKER_04Because if you're my friend, you should be able to look past me.
SPEAKER_01No, that's i rape. That's i rape. I'm cool. I was I did not, nobody asked me if I was okay with seeing that. You asked me if I was okay with seeing it. Like you, you in my mind without consent. What you say, bro. Get me out of there, it's over. If it's cool and it's regular and it's memes, I'm good with that. You start posting asses and sex, don't put, don't, don't make me a part of no sex. I don't wanna be a part of no sexes. Any quittest, any kind of lingus, keep me out. I don't want to be a part of no sex. Show me, show me the the the free throw. Show me the I just played Fortnite and I lost.
SPEAKER_02Like, are you cool with all of that?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, don't show me no dick.
SPEAKER_02The chicken wings in the air fryer, uh look at all this food I ate, y'all.
SPEAKER_01Memes. No dick suicide. No dick. Don't want to see no dick. You scarred with them dick pics. I ain't gonna lie.
SPEAKER_04I'm scared to see a DM. And that's a this somebody that I had I had I had Mona's account on my phone before, and I was yo, I ain't gonna lie.
SPEAKER_02See, before, yo, and if you follow Mona before, she used to post them joints. Like, she did post a nigga dead. You it'd be 1238. That should've say 1236. Bro, like then you ain't cut, bro. No slack, you ain't wait till later or nothing.
SPEAKER_04It it it it got it got treacherous in them joints, bro. Up to the point you just listen to.
SPEAKER_02It's crazy. I didn't I didn't get like random pussy like drones in my DM and shit like that. Even if it was like from fat girls, I would still appreciate it, but like I can't be a part of this conversation. What? I'm saying though, like you don't think that that'd be like fire if you're gonna be.
SPEAKER_01I think women have a little more self-respect, like not you. You're married, but I'm saying, like women have more self-respect. Like women in the middle of horny don't be as like y'all horny be so intense. Like y'all horny be like vicious. It'd be like horny, like whoa, yeah, like vampire. Women horny be like, hmm, all right, let's see what we're gonna do next. Like, we're gonna think it through. Y'all just be like freak.
SPEAKER_02I can't argue with that. Not y'all horny is like sprinting. I know the behavior you're talking about.
SPEAKER_01Y'all got sprinting. Y'all got hornies that I know like this, like literally like women horny is like marathon long race. Y'all are sprinting, and that's the problem. Y'all don't think it just be horny.
SPEAKER_02I think men, men horny is like raccoon attack, and women horny is like. No thoughts, dick hard. Like once, like once they get you, like it's over, but like, oh shit.
SPEAKER_01Like it just be like sometimes Instagram just be feeling like non-consent. Like I don't be on Instagram. Yeah, no, I post whatever and I leave and I go to TikTok or I go to my like second account where it's just like all girl stuff, like hair and recipes and nails. And I don't got something like that.
SPEAKER_02Like outside of dick pics, we because we already got that. But I outside of that, like what's like the number one thing that guys do on social media in like your DM that you hate?
SPEAKER_01In my DM, um you got a boyfriend? It's obviously got a boyfriend. I told I'm respectable though. I'll be talking about my boyfriend. Yeah, I have a boyfriend.
SPEAKER_04That could change though.
SPEAKER_01Okay, cool. Because it'll be it'll be somebody within like the scene or the community or something. Yes, I have a boyfriend. Fuck that nigga, get with me. Oh wow. Alright.
SPEAKER_04I ain't say all that. I just said the approach is respectable to ask because that could change.
SPEAKER_01Or, oh, you're you're so cool, like, you know, we can be friends. Okay, cool, we're friends. Oh, we friends, why you not texting me? I got a boyfriend. Why would I boyfriend cool with you having guy friends? I have limited guy friends. He's cool, he's cool with me doing everything that I do because I do everything within respect. Like, I respect the ground I woke her, so I'm not doing nothing crazy. And he'd be like, the nigga just went through my iPad. Like, I don't do shit. Like, you feel me? I can really just be like, here's my phone, and they'd be like, okay, cool, you're not doing shit.
SPEAKER_02Just media in general is just a slippery slope, but because for men, you obviously dealing with a lot of attractive women. So and they're just naturally nice. I belie I had to learn that the hard way. Like when you get when you come from I'm gonna be like, I've learned that the hard way. Like girls be nice to me, I'm thinking you trying to fuck. I used to like before, like, because when you get into the music, you gotta be professional. So like I said, you run into a lot of attractive girls, and like you gotta get that out your head. Like your man thoughts come first, so you remove the clothes, yeah, you put on like your grown man thoughts. It was like, I definitely had to learn that.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, they used to be like, Your wife's so mean. What that though? They used to be like, oh my gosh, love time that it is. She's just like, they be like, Yeah, your wife didn't even bet it all ass. She we don't even want to. And I'm like, but I had to let her know too that like this exists, because she used to me be in house, me in the crib, me around you, me, you know what I'm saying? And we out. Now we outside, it's like I gotta take pictures with this meeting greeting. It's like, why the fuck you got a meet and greet? It's like, because I have people that love and want to see me and meet me.
SPEAKER_01She said, But I love you and I want to see you, and I met you. So what the fuck they need to love and see and meet you for.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, pretty much.
SPEAKER_01And I feel that.
SPEAKER_04Pretty much. That's how it goes. I I I feel that. Uh I do want, but okay, as we before we wrap this up, though, I want to say thank y'all for being here. Y'all wanna be here all the time, so I mean I gotta thank y'all though for today. Um, bang, we'll be here too. We gotta, this is this is we're gonna we're gonna make this a thing. This is a marriage.
SPEAKER_02Um we're three amigos, we're married.
SPEAKER_04We're gonna try to help you out though with the with the, but I think you you bit you hold your own though with the the the women. You got the, you know.
SPEAKER_01It's just like it's y'all just I'm stressed.
SPEAKER_04No, we do good though. We we understand both sides of the the coin. All right.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna read the book and I'm gonna come back and I'm gonna manipulate y'all. The power of a man that be the first time the book called wouldn't be the first time. Yes, that one listen, man.
SPEAKER_04Make sure y'all subscribe, make sure y'all follow Malaga, make sure y'all follow Bang, make sure y'all follow me if you don't already. Follow the follow the follow the team behind behind the camera too, because I want to shout them out. And everybody can be at the forefront. Appreciate y'all for tapping in. Let's keep tapping in, let's keep tuning in. And let's keep this thing going, please. Let's keep the lights on and let's hopefully y'all watch the fucking show because. We don't just do this shit for the fun of it. We do, but we don't.
SPEAKER_01I was gonna say this is all LOLs. I'm having a great time.
SPEAKER_04Well, for now. Thank y'all. See y'all next week. Good, good, great, no.
SPEAKER_02That was so funny.
unknownThat was a good time.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. You are now tapped in with time flies. Don't touch that dial, yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah. It's the part where the game shift.
SPEAKER_07I was raised on the same strip. Down Broad Street, you know that I can't switch, switch. Lock in, cause it's game six. It's time flies. I know what the game is.
unknownMm-mm.
